About Me
Jack Bonko originates from the Twin Cities. He's a 2019 graduate from Minnesota State University, Moorhead with a B.A. in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Acting, and a B.S. in Integrated Public Relations and Advertising.
This holiday season, Jack Bonko will be playing Scott in Lyric Arts production of The Girl on the Train. Last fall he played Henry in Wildwood's production of Next to Normal which took place at the historic Capri Theatre.
This past August, Jack Bonko created and produced his first Fringe show. Fleeting: An Eco-Comedy Absurdist Rant was a well-received one-man show that was performed by Alex Kleven at the U of M Rarig Arena.
In June, Jack Bonko played the role of Brooks/Dashwood/Parrot and u/s Laurie in Lyric Arts production of Little Women. He got the call that he was going on for Brooks' track two days before the first preview and memorized the track in time for opening.
Jack Bonko spends his free time reading plays, hammocking, writing poetry and plays, watching the newest Netflix original series and riding his scooter.

Jack Bonko was cast in a TV Show Pilot that was filmed in the Twin Cities last May.
This past summer, Jack Bonko taught nine weeks at SteppingStone devising a ten-minute play each week with ages 3-14. His favorite was the musical about a group of evil people attacking the cast of Frozen because they're pro-climate change and didn't like the show because it was cold.
He was recently seen on stage as Mr. Snoring Man in Lakeshore Players production of White Christmas.
Jack Bonko was a Child Supervisor Swing for A Christmas Carol (2020) at the Guthrie. He was also a Child Supervisor for Noura (2020) at the Guthrie.
In the summer of 2021, Jack Bonko played The Cool Dude in Last Summer's Love a musical that was a part of the 2021 Fringe Festival. Last Summer's Love was featured on Twin Cities Live. The cast went to a recording studio in Minneapolis and recorded the show. Check it out here!
